Marriage Daily

Marriage Daily offers a level of daily encouragement and growth for your marriage by talking about the things that really matter to your marriage.

Each week day you’ll receive a short e-mail created to encourage and challenge you. Our communication is pretty direct and we won’t be pulling any punches as we talk about things that we believe matter like: sex, communication, marital healing, growing together and more.

If you want to build a thriving marriage this year, we invite you to join us on the Marriage Daily journey!  All you need to do is to subscribe by clicking on the link below.

All the marriage dailies are good, very, very good. I’m talking better than chocolate good, better than French Fries good, better than a good hair day good.

Thank you for being so candid and willing to expose your humanity. We have had a similar journey. Our commitment to similar values has kept us moving toward a healthier, even happier relationship.

Our marriage Heroes! Keeping it real and encouraging us to press on and know there is hope. Equipping us with tools and reminding us Gods plan for our marriages. And to Lighten up and have fun!

Make Room

FEBRUARY 12, 2013
“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” ~Colossians 3:13Do you give room for your spouse to make mistakes? As newlyweds we were so forgiving of their shortcomings and mistakes. Now that some time has passed we have become less flexible and find it harder and harder to get over the offenses that come our way.We live in an imperfect world filled with imperfect people (yes, even you :-). So, we need to see forgiveness as a tool in our belt and not as a get out of jail free card that we hand out to those we consider worthy.

“Never forget the three powerful resources you always have available to you: love, prayer, and forgiveness.” ~H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Make room for your spouses faults and forgive them just like you want them to do for you. Put your tools to work today and begin to let go of people and things that you have held on to. Let them go:

  • because you can,
  • because you have been forgiven and
  • because it’s time to start living free of the extra weight of holding on.

Enjoy your marriage,

David & Lorrie
