fight verb \ˈfīt\ intransitive verb

1.. a : to contend in battle or physical combat; especially : to strive to overcome a person by blowsFight! or weapons
b : to engage in boxing
2  to put forth a determined effort
Do you put forth a determined effort in your marriage? I know we do at work, at church when we are serving, even with the kids. But what about your marriage?
When we think of fighting connected with marriage we immediately see the negative aspect . I want to challenge you from the positive perspective to:
  • fight to keep that date night scheduled.
  • fight for your alone time together
  • fight to stay on the same page with one another
  • fight to communicate
  • fight to keep both feet in the relationship
  • fight to stay together
  • fight to keep the romance and spice
  • fight for intimacy
  • fight for peace between the two of you
Put forth a determined effort to strengthen your marriage. Remember God’s promise from yesterday:

Ephesians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”(ESV)
